Joshua Wales is a writer and physician based in Toronto. Anthologized in Best Canadian Stories, his writing has been shortlisted for the Commonwealth Short Story Prize and American Short Fiction‘s Halifax Ranch Fiction Prize. He was a silver winner at the National Magazine Awards, and a finalist for the RBC Bronwen Wallace Award for Emerging Writers from the Writers’ Trust of Canada. He holds an MFA from the University of British Columbia, and an MD from McMaster University.
